The American Silver Eagle bullion dollar coin uses this obverse. It was not struck by the US Mint until 1986. Fully 80 years after the date on this coin. The Walking Liberty Half Dollar, which uses the same obverse but a different reverse (which we don't see in the picture) was struck by the US mint from 1916 to 1947, 10 years before the date on this coin.
